Miss Alex LaRosa is Trailblazing the Afro-Italian community, Alex has been a face for Ashley Stewart while being a spokeswoman for body positivity. A model on and off the runway, Ms. LaRosa made her NYFW debut Fall ‘16, and this is just the beginning. She is committed to being a spokesperson for the body positive movement and has been interviewed by Huffington Post Live, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Allure Magazine, and more.

Yasmine is the CEO & Founder of ScholarCHIPs. To date, ScholarCHIPS has awarded over $80,000 in college scholarships to 29 students. As she continues to reign as the current Miss District of Columbia Plus America. Yasmine is a poet, motivational speaker, preacher and fashion model. She has been featured in TeenVogue, Essence, Black Enterprise and Forbes Magazine and numerous times on ABC7 News and in The Washington Post for her community work. 

Candice N. Mackel is a full time entrepreneur, and founder of Candice Nicole Public Relations, Women Who Hustle, and most recently, The CRWN Agency- a creative consulting agency for the "Hustlin' Creative." Within the 10 years of CNPR, Candice Nicole. has worked with top talent in music and film including Spike Lee, TI, Meek Mill, Big Boi, Tika Sumpter, Marsha Ambrosius, and more. She is also the author of "The PR Puzzle" and is the VP of Marketing for The Women of Alliance in Media- DC Chapter.

 Valerie Eguavoen is a lawyer and civil rights advocate. A gruduate of Howard University School of Law, Valerie is the creator of Fashion On A Curve. Through her blog, Valerie encourages the development of personal style, and provides readers with styling tips and stunning visuals for inspiration. Valerie is committed to using her platform to uplift Black women and support the struggle for equality. Valerie has been featured on Essence.com, Yahoo Style, Huffington Post, Bustle and Buzzfeed.

During her tenure at Howard Ms. Zenani Rae Greenwell participated in TANGLES, Howard's natural hair club, several dance teams and served as a Cheerleading coach at an Alternative High School in the greater Washington D.C. area. She also served as the Second Vice President for her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Chapter. Throughout Zenani's experience, she has witnessed how body image has played a pivotal role in shaping the mindset, self-esteem and self-worth of women and girls as well as herself.

Chichi Ononye-Tommey has always had a passion for fashion. While growing up, she realized that lack of diversity for young women her size in addition to presence in the media. This lead her to merge her love for fashion and her creative talents to form Supplechic. Today, Chichi is a wife, mom, content creator and the editor behind supplechic.com. Chichi has collaborated with top brands like DSW, Eloquii, Mazda, Kotex and Gwynnie Bee and has been featured in BuzzFeed, FashionBombdaily, Styleblazer, theOutfit.com and Essence.

Ms. Hameed, a notable Howard alumna, has been featured in magazines such as Essence, Ebony, O, and Seventeen. Anique is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Opulence Consulting Group, a founding board member of HairOnPurpose, Inc., and a Huffington Post contributor where she uses her platform to highlight women who are trailblazing in entrepreneurship and public service. Anique continually renews her commitment to the community through the work of her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
